The Viridian Value Tracker is the most comprehensive valuation product in the industry.
The Hemp sector showed valuation metric improvement this week, with the market to book for the 44 sector companies rising to .55x compared to .46x last week. Similarly, EV/ LTM revenues increased to 1.08x from .94x last week. We did not see any news to account for the increase, which bucked the downward trend in cultivation and retail valuations. The sector continues to wait for a new Farm Bill, which it hopes will increase allowed levels of THC and codify the status of hemp-derived intoxicants, which have become some of the segment’s most profitable products.
