The Viridian Value Tracker is the most comprehensive valuation product in the industry.
Our sector trackers include ratios applicable to value companies with no analyst coverage and the more typical EV/ Revenues and EV/ EBITDA measures. For each valuation measure, we present the values for the lowest 25% of companies, the median, and the highest 25%. This gives investors a better understanding of the spread of values than a simple average, often presented but frequently seriously flawed by outliers. Valuations in the Cultivation and Retail sector were down slightly this week, with the median market to book for the nineteen companies at .42x compared to ..45x last week and median EV/ 2023 EBITDA down to 5.57x this week from 6.16x last week. However, the metrics are a bit deceiving as most of the decreased EV/EBITDA comes from increased total 2023 EBITDA estimates based on 3rd quarter outperformance.
