- The Hemp sector showed a sliver of credit improvement this week. There is nothing that could be observed in the financial statements: Assets/Liabilities and Funds from operation / total liabilities are unchanged. However, market-based leverage indicators, including total liabilities to market cap and debt/market cap, both improved from last week. The former moved from 1.44x down to 1.34x while later improved slightly from .77x to .75x. Nonetheless, in a sector whose credit metrics have been suffering for the last 18 months, any sign of improvement is welcomed.
