Although the Agricultural sector liquidity is unchanged from last week at a critically low free cash flow adjusted current ratio of .19x, there has been a bit of improvement in market-based leverage measures. Total Liabilities to market cap improved from 1.7x to 1.6x, implying a market belief that the sector’s asset value covers its liabilities by 162.5%. Still, the real uptick in the sector’s financial health depends on increased capex by cultivators. Rescheduling is vital in improving the financial health of ag techs customers, but so too are critical rec legalization votes in Florida and Ohio, which could significantly increase cultivation demand.
