The model uses 11 market and financial statement variables to discern 4 key credit factors: Liquidity, Leverage, Profitability, and Size, to provide credit/liquidity analysis for over 370 public Cannabis/Hemp companies.
This week’s credit tracker focuses on the 5 principal U.S. Real Estate sector companies in the Viridian Value Tracker database. Our purpose was to evaluate the public competitors of this weeks only debt issuance, Madison Sweet Leaf. NewLake Capital too(NLCP: OTCQX) took credit spot of the group. It has the lowest leverage on both a total liabilities to market cap, and funds from operation to total liabilities basis. It places second in our size ratings behind Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR: NYSE) and first in profitability. Chicago Atlantic (REFI: Nasdaq) beat out rival AFC Gamma (AFCG: Nasdaq) by having lower, leverage, better profitability and equal size ratings.
