- With the MSOS ETF breaking new lows, the EV/2025 EBITDA of the 29 analyst-rated Global cultivation and retail companies is barely above 4x! Our preferred Adj EV/ EBITDAR measure is two full points higher at 6.3x, so the MSOs are not as cheap as they appear.
- 2024 has been a very bad year for M&A but these valuation measures have a lot to do with it. After all, if you are trading at 4x EBITDA, you have to buy companies trading at even lower multiples!
