Weekly Sector Credit
- Psychedelic sector credit quality has deteriorated slightly over the last month.
- Liquidity is key in a sector where all the credits are negative cash flow. The median free cash flow adjusted current ratio is now -.16x, down from -.06x a month ago. Frankly, both numbers indicate a pressing need for new capital, and although the numbers have deteriorated, both indicate significant liquidity stress.
- The sector’s median total liabilities to market cap of .39x shows a slight deterioration from .32x last month, but both numbers are encouraging. The market is still convinced that asset values give significant coverage over liabilities.
